Your latest My Window Cleaner news

As one year ends and another starts, it’s a great time to reflect and to also look forward to the exciting times ahead. Our past year has been a good one and the one ahead is already better.

Some of our news is that we have two new confirmed franchise partners joining us in our scheduled February training week in Marbella, with the businesses both going live later that month. Gareth will be joining the network and will own the Newport territory; his hometown. Being a proud Welshman, he is into his rugby and goes to many of the Internationals. A previous British Gas engineer, Gareth is now looking forward to owning and managing his business, with the commitment of following the My Window Cleaner model, to achieve a multi-van operation within 18 months of starting. He is very competitive and we are sure that he will achieve this and much much more!

Our other new franchise owner is Alexandra (Alex). Yes, we have our first lady franchisee and we are delighted that Alex is joining the team. Alex is originally from Bermuda and moved to the UK 6 months ago. Whilst she was in Bermuda she contacted us with a view of starting a business within the UK, after she had settled in. There were many Skype calls back and forwards and when Alex landed, we met up pretty quickly to discuss the partnership and how we could work together. So, Alex is taking on the territory of Leicester West and managing the marketing, operations and administration. Her partner (George) and brother (Aaron) will be physically providing the services.

We are delighted to renew our membership of the British Franchise Association (BFA). Ethical franchising is at the core of our offering and it is important for our existing and new franchise partners to know that we take our model, relationships and responsibilities seriously. The BFA continually monitor their members and ensure that they meet the required criteria to warrant membership. New franchise owners can therefore invest with confidence and knowledge, that they are joining a bona fide business.

Moving on....

We don’t have to look back too far to find more success. Michael Finn started his franchise in October and provides service to the customers in the Willesden and Brondesbury Park areas of London.

After a fun training week in Marbella, Michael has adopted his learnings and has applied them with great gusto and skill. He is now being rewarded by a fast growing customer base, that have signed up to regular cleans & has already provided gutter clearance and jet wash services as great up sells. The early results speak for themselves. They are:

The My Window Cleaner team and the franchise partners have already celebrated with a Christmas lunch & having everyone attend, new and old, and along with partners, was a wonderful way to end the year. Silly gifts were exchanged, including five pairs of rubber pants for Alan; what goes on tour stays on tour!

And lastly, the latest version of our new IT system is fully operational & it makes franchise owners even more efficient than ever before. With a new APP, improved automated communications to customers, templated marketing emails and new accounting functions, it’s a state of the art system, which makes the My Window Cleaner franchise a truly scalable opportunity.

If you are looking for a new start and to own a great business in 2020, please feel free to contact us.

The My Window Cleaner team wishes you a very merry Christmas and an amazing New Year.
